Animal Supplements

You really love your pet.  A million companies out there know that you really love your pet.

In the United States, the FDA is in charge of regulating animal supplements and pet foods for all of these critters.  At this time, the FDA also considers enforcing those regulations as "Low Priority."

Combine those facts and what do you get?  A massive money making industry based on products that just don't work.  Existing studies have found that up to 71% of pet vitamins and 86% of pet probiotics lack the nutrients they claim to contain.

And just as many pet products claim effectiveness they just don't have.  For example, almost no "homeopathic" pet products disclose that there is no scientific evidence supporting their claims.  Even though that's exactly what is required by the FTC for all human "homeopathic" products that can't produce a legitimate study of their product.  You may enjoy a placebo effect, but your pet is just getting ripped off.  (Human homeopathic products represent a bit of a different scam throughout your local pharmacies.)

If you've bought any of these sham products, or been misled by other claims,  do yourself, your pet, and others a favor - either contact us, or take some action of your own.  As a class representative you can often receive extra financial awards of a few hundred or thousand dollars for helping stop the violations.

Just interested in helping the world? Clients are welcome to designate a 501(c)(3) charity that deserves a financial award instead.  Most recently we donated to the Morris Animal Foundation, a nonprofit investing in science to advance animal health.

Take some action.  If you don't fix it, they won't fix it.
